Rivendell Elf The Hobbit cosplay costume dress

This beautiful costume is based on the gowns, worn by the Rivendell-Elves in Peter Jackson's screening of "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings".

It is made of velvet in two different colours. The actual dress is made of a light beige/silver velvet that is embroidered with thousands of tiny matt copper coloured sequins. These sequins add a wonderful deep structure to the velvet without making it too shiny. The underdress is complemented by an overdress or coat made of maroon red/brown silk velvet. Both, over- and underdress end in a beautiful train. Whereas the underdress can simply be put on over your head, the coat is closed in front using the brooch.
